Mike Smith |
Owner, Boys Program Director: Mike has been coaching for 10 years and is a Nationally rated Mens Judge. He has a Masters in Education and is a former Math Teacher at the High School and in a past life he guided at risk youth through the great outdoors and as a yong man was an avid outdoorsman, mountain climber and skier. He and his wife Kathy Gibbs, started Excel Gymnastics of Steamboat in 2006. |

Steve Murray |
Girls Program Director: Steve has been coaching for over 30 years. He has been a mens judge and a club owner, he also has been managing gymnastics programs for 20 years. |

Mike Rosenthal |
Mike started gymnastics as a youngster at Aurora School of Gymnastics and he has taught gymnastics for over 10 years. He has a BS in Political Science from DU and is currently going back to school to earn a degree in Wildlife Conservation. |

Jessica Wagner |
Jessica is a former Level 9 gymnast and is a Graphic Designer currently for the Steamboat Today. She teaches the Xcel (Eagles) and JO Teams, Girls Hot Shots and Girls Recreational Classes. |

Ashley teaches the Girls Recreational Classes and subs for teams. Ashley worked at Excel several years ago, is recently married and has returned to teach. Welcome back Ashley! |
